Zayn Malik's solo music career is going pretty bloody well so far. He was number one in the UK singles chart midweeks yesterday, and everyone with a pair of working ears is obsessed with 'PILLOWTALK'.
What's not going quite so swimmingly however is his interview timetable, as for the second time in less than a week, he's pulled out of a big public appearance at the very last minute. ZEEEHHHNNNNN NOOOOOOO.
This time it's Radio 1 who've been left a bit confused, after Zayn cancelled his scheduled interview this week with just minutes to spare.
Zayn was due to appear on BBC Radio 1 for a chat with Greg James on Monday, but pulled out (oi oi) at the very last minute just 45 minutes before his scheduled slot to go live on air.
No one seems to really know the reasons behind Zayn ditching the interview, but it meant that more than 300 fans were left pretty gutted by the news as they lined up outside the London radio show studios to meet him.
It's thought that Greg James had planned to give Ztans the chance to come into the studio to ask their own questions to Zayn, so it would have been a good'un too. Owww.
An insider told The Sun: "Radio 1 and Greg are big fans of Zayn. They are really disappointed because it was going to be something special for his fans, particularly the ones in the UK.
"They had moved a lot of things around to accommodate him and it's just a real shame for listeners that they've been let down."
This might seem mysterious enough as it is, but don't forget that Z-dawg also decided not to appear on his planned first solo TV appearance last week, cancelling on The Graham Norton Show the day before filming was to take place.
C'mon Zayn, sort it out. Thoughts on all of this? Let us know with a tweet to @Sugarscape.
