Singing sensation and really nice person Adele has accused Donald Trump (who is neither a singing sensation OR a really nice person) of using her music without permission. Via a rep. In a very official sounding statement.
Trump - whose political views are even more ridiculous as his hair, and that's saying something - has been playing Adele's hits to warm up the crowd at his campaign rallies, consistently playing 'Rolling In The Deep' and 'Skyfall'.
Oh Donald, u so hip. U so current. U so an actual imbecile with a fascist agenda.
Sorry, are we being a little biased? Oh wait that was intentional because if he is elected he will destroy American and then the world.
A load of people have been tweeting Adele asking if she's letting ol' Trumpathon use her music slash if she minds being affiliated with him - and it turns out the answer to both of those questions is a resounding 'No'.
An official spokesperson for the singer said: "Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning".
So that's that then.
Trump's not the only one trying to cash in on Adele's talent either - his Republican opponent Mike Huckabee (real name) posted a spoof of her new track 'Hello' on YouTube (oh Mike, u so hip, u so current etc.) with lyrics relating to his political rivals.
HOWEVER, due to a copyright claim the audio, aka the song, has been muted which essentially means it's now completely useless. Poor Mike.
What do you make of all this? Let us know with a tweet over @Sugarscape y'all.
