In case you're wondering what your pal and ours Kanye West's up to, he's retracted his comments about his new album Waves being the 'best of all time;' admitting that's actually just 'ONE of the greatest' ever. No biggie.
Oh, and he's tweeted a weird 'unauthorised' Rolling Stone magazine cover shot by his mate and talented little sausage Tyler, The Creator. The headline they're running with? Something about mustard, 'cos why not really?
Last month 'Ye tweeted that he was 'so happy to be finished with the best album of all time.' Now, though, he reckons it ain't actually the best record the world's ever heard. Just *one* of 'em. He said: "Out of respect for Q-Tip, Puff, Hov, Lauren, Pharcyde, Mary, Stevie, Michael, Hendrix, James, Pete Rock, Pac, Marvin…
"This new album is ONE of the greatest albums not the greatest just one of …So many musicians touch my life and made me who I am… I want to make something great to honor my idols…" [sic].
So there you go. Pretty decent, then?
Kanye then kicked off at Billboard's description of his 'unauthorised' Rolling Stone cover, adding: "Aye Billboard you could use the term "unauthorized" but never refer to anything that me and Tyler do as fake out of respect to musicians…" [sic].
What d'ya make of that, then? Give us a tweet over @sugarscape or drop a comment in the box below, please and a-thank you. Hoorah.
