You know how Matty Healy admitted he and Taylor Swift swapped numbers and stuff last November? Well - aside from being all adorable wearing each other's tour merch - we never actually had any confirmation were a thing; but it's now being reported she actually inspired The 1975's new track 'A Change of Heart.'
The lads chucked a preview of the tune on the interweb last week; and Page Six reports that some of the lyrics lend themselves particularly well to his rumoured relationship with our TayTay. OOH and AAH.
The track's lyrics basically describe a well shallow gal pal, with Matty claiming one girl told him he 'looks like shit' and 'smells a bit' (bit harsh, babes); and now a source 'close to Healy' has told Page Six: "She may have inspired some of it," but [the song] "is about more than one girl."
Check out the lyrics and see what you think, eh?
You smashed a glass into pieces / That's around the time I left / And you were coming across as clever / Then you lit the wrong end of your cigaretteYou said I'm full of diseases / Your eyes were full of regret / And then you took a picture of your salad / And put it on the InternetAnd she said, "I've been so worried about you lately / You look like shit and smell a bit" / You're mad thinking you could ever save me / Not looking like thatYou used to have a face straight out of a magazine / Now you just look like anyone / I just had a change of heart
Oh and here's the song, if you're interested.
