Zayn Malik's rep denies he'll support Justin Bieber on the Purpose tour alongside Bring Me The Horizon

BMTH's joke kinda backfired a bit

Yesterday, when a poster claiming Zayn Malik and Bring Me The Horizon were gonna support Justin Bieber on the UK leg of his Purpose tour this October, two things crossed our mind. 1) what the actual eff and 2) um, this would potentially be the best gig of all time. And while, yeah, it'd be bloody awesome it was pretty obvious the whole thing was fake af.

He's 'ZAYN' these days, don'tchaknow? 'Zayn Malik' is just so...2015.

Well now the official Drop Dead account (Oli Sykes's clothing brand, innit?) have confirmed the poster they originally tweeted was Photoshopped as Zayn's people told Pressparty there's zero truth in it. Shame.

Since the poster was tweeted by a proper, verified account loads of fans believed it despite all the confusion; although now Zayn's rep's confirmed he won't be joining the Biebs and apparently his legal team 'can't take a joke.' Uh oh.

Confirming the poster was indeed a joke, the official Drop Dead account tweeted "Is it too late to say sorry? @justinbieber" [sic] before adding: "Apparently zayn's legal team cant take a joke... everyone can stop crying now, Bieber & BMTH won't be sharing a stage anytime soon."

What d'ya make of that, then? Give us a tweet over @sugarscape or drop a comment in the box below, please and a-thaaaank you bye.
