Fifth Harmony's new Ty Dolla $ign collab 'Work From Home' is, undeniably, an absolute bop. The song of 2016 so far, *that* party playlist jam etc. etc. So it's no bloody wonder the track's already number 3 on iTunes and sitting pretty at the top of the Official Trending Chart over here already, is it?

Now Lauren, Normani, Camila, Dinah Jane and Ally have't even hit the UK on the promo trail yet (we hear big things are coming, shhh); but we couldn't resist giving Ally a call for a gossip about errrythang ahead of the release of their 7/27 album on May 20th.

We just get withdrawls if we're not in regular contact, really. It's becoming an issue.

Wanna know what went down? Of course you do, boo. HERE YA GO:

Oh hey, Ally. 'Work From Home' is already blowin' up over here, which is pretty exciting innit?

I know, it's crazy. Oh my gosh, thank you so much. We freaking love the UK, we can't wait to go back and I'm so glad everybody's loving it over there. Thank you guys.

How did you decided it was gonna be the first single off of 7/27?

It was kind of a collaborative effort. We'd known that was one of the contenders and we have a lot of songs on the album that we think are strong and we're in love with. Then the label dwindled it down to this one and we were like 'wow, this is so cool.'

We're so excited to come out with something new and strong and something that shows our growth. It's actually one of our most chilled singles and it's a less is more kind of thing, which is kind of awesome.

You girls are constantly plagued with bullshit rumours you hate each other and are probably gonna split any second. What would you say to shut the haters down once and for all?

I'd say we're about to come our with an album called 7/27 on the 20th May, and that's all I need to say. We're very excited about it. Hugs and kisses.

Oof, SASSY. So you're coming back to the UK soon, right?

Yes, we're planning things right now. Everything's in the works, but we can't announce anything yet. We're working on a tour and all that good stuff.

Have you got a message for Harmonizers over here in the meantime, hun?

UK Harmonizers, we love you so much. We miss you guys. You're so sweet and respectful, you have the cutest accents and you're just full of so much love and have a little twinkle in your eyes. Thank you, the love is mutual and we can't wait to come back, I mean it. I miss you guys.

Right, Ally. Based on the 'Work From Home' theme we're gonna ask you a couple of questions that've genuinely been asked in job interviews before. First one - if you had to choose one song to be played every time you walked into a room, what would it be and why?

There's this older song by Amy Grant called 'Baby, Baby' and that song's associated with a lot of my memories from when I was a child and growing up in general in the past few years. It's kinda like my theme song because it's happy, has a cute message and I'm a huge fan of '80s and '90s music. I love that song, it's so cute.

What would your bandmates say is your best and worst quality?

It's so weird talking about yourself like 'my best thing is...' *asks other girls*. What would y'all say is my best quality? They're saying my great attitude and my efficiency for time, which is very much appreciated.

Dinah says when I eat food, I can't finish the last bite and I always leave it to someone else. I always leave the last piece.

Nowt too bad, then. What's the accomplishment you're most proud of?

So many really amazing things have happened in our career, it's hard to pick. Dang. I think going triple platinum with 'Worth It' was amazing for us, because it was kind of our first hit and we've worked really hard over the past three years on so many levels; trying to find ourselves as a group. Also winning a VMA. I'll never forget that day, it was really special and just being able to help people all around the world is kind of insane.

Oh, and the White House.

Done alright for yourselves, haven't ya? Now, three years down the line, if you had to go back and audition for The X Factor again what song would you sing this time?

My second song was actually 'I Still Believe' by Mariah Carey, so I'd like to see how that one would've worked out. That's a big song.
