A couple of things are guaranteed to happen when Zayn Malik releases his debut solo album Mind of Mine on March 25th. We've already resigned ourselves to the fact that we'll a) be fangirling all over the place at HoW AmAziNG iT'LL bE and b) probably break down over the whole one year anniversary since 5/5 One Direction became 4/4. What we didn't expect though, was for the release to cause condoms to come off.
So you know this producer chap Malay who Zayn worked with on 'PILLOWTALK' and stuff? Well he's tweeted that, on the day the album's released, condoms will 'come off' and it's quite a claim we *think* we know what he's getting at.
Teasing the album, Malay tweeted: "In ten days, condoms come off! #MindOfMine @zaynmalik" [sic]. Now at first we thought he might mean everyone's gonna start exploring alternative birth control options or the album's so bloody sexy everyone will just be making babies to it but, actually, it's probably nothing to do with that.
Back in January during his interview with Zane Lowe for Beats 1, Zayn explained that Malay's way of working's a bit different to his experiences in the 1D days. He said: "He does weird things. Like he told me once he put a condom over a microphone and put it in water and swung it around to capture the sound of the beat."
We guess that's what he's on about, right? Either way, PRACTICE SAFE SEX GUYS.
So there you go. Give us a tweet over @sugarscape and all that malarky, yeah? That'd be lovely.
