Little Mix have always been pretty open about the fact that it took them longer than expected to get their third album to a stage they were happy with; they even scrapped a whole loada songs and started all over again to make sure they were putting out the best record possible.
Well, the girls' have now opened up about just HOW tense the whole creative process behind Get Weird was, with Jesy explaining that the delay they experienced really brought them down for a while.
She told Cosmopolitan: "We got stuck in a rut. The album wasn't good enough. It took us a year, locked in a tiny room, to write it. It was horrid, we cried so much. There was one song we wrote seven different choruses for and it still wasn't right."
Adding that the difficulties affected the whole band's morale, she continued: "Leigh-Anne is the most positive person in the group and even she was getting down. We hit rock bottom."
Well, it might've taken longer than expected but there's no doubt Get Weird is an absolute KILLER of an album, and totally worth the wait.
