If you've been anywhere near Twitter over the past few weeks, you won't have been able to avoid the #BestFanArmy hashtag and the Directioners, Lovatics, Beliebers, Harmonizers etc. etc. blah blah hoping to pick up the iHeartRadio Music Awards gong for their fandom. Well, as it happens, Justin Bieber's Beliebers won said award - and other fandoms ain't happy about it.
So basically One Direction, Fifth Harmony and 5SOS's fans all united over the fact Beliebers blagged it; trending #iFakeAwards on Twitter and standing together to claim the whole thing's a bit of a fix since 1D were supposedly in the lead with Justin fourth.
According to loads of screengrabs of the ranking just before the ceremony Directioners were in the lead followed by Haromizers in second place, the 5SOSFam in third, Justin Bieber's Beliebers in fourth and Demi Lovato's Lovatics in fifth. One 1D update account tweeted: "We were not informed that the winner must be on the 4th place." Ohhhh shit.
Another 5SOS fan account likened the whole debacle to Taylor Swift's 'Bad Blood;' getting all sassy and saying: "When the directioners, the 5SOS fam and the harmonizers take over twitter. This is the best thing ever #iFakeAwards."
There you go. Essentially loads of fans are pissed off and WHO KNOWS whether the award was rightfully Beliebers', eh?
