Look, we're not gonna lie - we're actually pretty big fans of sweary bits in songs. Probably because we weren't raised right (soz mum), but also because there's something v. liberating about singing 'F**K' or similar at the top of your voice.
Spesh when it's about some loser guy, a la Little Mix's awesome track 'Hair'.
HOWEVER, we do tend to forget that there's a lot of younger fans out there too - and one's now written an ~adorable~ letter re: the sweary bit in Hair, offering the Little Mix gals some constructive criticism.
Shared by a cousin on Twitter, it reads:
"Dear Sir/Madam, I am a big fan of Little Mix and my favourite song is 'Weird People'. However, singing along to 'Hair', I did a rude word. If you don't know what I'm talking about, it comes in the line, 'he was just a **** and I knew it'. It's a great song but I just wish I could sing it properly (my mum and dad won't let me sing it as I am only eight). I understand that this can not be changed but I am just making a point. As I said, I am a huge Little Mix fan, so if possible please could I have thier autographs."
OK BUT WAIT BECAUSE HERE COMES THE BEST BIT:
"P.S: So I can sing along I have changed it to 'he was just a plank and I knew it', because it means the same thing"
We love her. We literally love her. Little Mix pls can you send her your autographs pls because if that isn't the best letter you've ever read we really don't know what is.
