If, like us, you can't get enough of Nick Jonas and Tove Lo's new single 'Close' you'll be sitting pretty and patient waiting for his brand spankin' new album Last Year Was Complicated. But, since it's not actually out till June 10th, he's decided to chuck 'Champagne Problems' on the interweb to tide us over.
The '80s-inspired track's basically about splitting up with his ex-girlfriend Olivia Culpo and has that bittersweet, crying-on-the-dancefloor kinda vibe about it.
Explaining what it's all about in his recent Reddit AMA, Nick said: "'Champagne Problems' is a song about sharing a bottle of champagne with my now ex as we were breaking up to kind of close that chapter. It was sad and slightly sweet at the same time.
"It was a range of emotions and feelings and I think this song, although it sounds like a party song, actually has some of the deepest lyrics on the record."
Oh also y'know this Ty Dolla $ign collab 'Bacon' on the album? What kind of delicious situation's that all about, eh? Nicholas Jerry told Capital FM: "The idea is when you are out of a relationship and you start to be okay with the fact that it's ended.
"In my case my life was great, it's so good that we should throw some bacon on it to make it even better."
LET'S LISTEN TO 'CHAMPAGNE PROBLEMS' YAY.
What d'ya make of that, then? Buzzing for the album? Tweet us over @sugarscape, please and ta very much.
