When Meghan Trainor first popped up on the scene with 'All About That Bass' she made her thoughts on Photoshopping pretty clear. 'We know that shit ain't real,' she told us as she admitted she's totally cool with looking different to the ridiculous 'ideal' body image we're bombarded with by the media.
So obviously she was bloody livid when her new music video for 'Me Too' got chucked online and she found someone had gone a bit overboard with the alterations in post-production; making her waist smaller. Like, to the point where she had to remove it from the internet.
Er, did someone say MEGHAN SLAY-NOR?
Getting all sassy (and rightfully so tbh) on Snapchat, Meghan explained: ""I took down the 'Me Too' video because they Photoshopped the crap out of me. And I'm so sick of it and I'm over it, so I took it down until they fix it. My waist is not that teeny, I had a bomb waist that night. I don't know why they didn't like my waist, but I didn't approve that video and it went out for the world, so I'm embarrassed.
"The video is still one of my favorite videos I've ever done, I'm very proud of it. I just am pissed off that they broke my ribs, you know?"
What d'ya make of that, then? Proud of Meghan for making a stand? Give us a tweet over @sugarscape after this vid, please and a-thaaank you.
