She might've finished in third place on the last series of The Voice, but will.i.am's kept his promise of looking after Lydia Lucy post-telly talent show and offered her a place in The Black Eyed Peas.
Yup - Fergie hasn't really been involved with the BEP boys for a while; so mentor Will thought he'd take Lydia under his wing and let her join him, apl.de.ap and Taboo in the band as her replacement.
Basically the whole thing comes after Will reunited with The Black Eyed Peas at a recent gig at London's Royal Albert Hall; inviting Lydia to take over Fergie's lines on all the old classics like 'Where is the Love?' and 'I Gotta Feeling.'
Can't help but feel we've been cruelly overlooked, but there you go.
Apparently Lydia's set to go on tour with the band on a full-time basis, with her recently telling Mirror Celeb: "Will is a bit like Willy Wonka. He takes all these ideas and muddles them and it always seems to work."
LOOK, here she is performing with the boys and everything.
