Who have we here, then?
19-year-old new popstar-type Ryan Lawrie with the good hair. Alright, Ryan Lawrie? How's it going pal?
Go on then, what's his story?
Bellshill-born Ryan was actually raised in the Scottish town of Coatbridge, not too far from Glasgow. As tends to be the way these days, he started his pop career posting cover versions on YouTube, before signing a deal back in 2013.
Ryan then joined a boyband (Exposure, remember them?), left said boyband and started working on his own thang again. Earlier this year he released his latest single 'If Only' and he's now in the running to play Capital FM's Summertime Ball on June 11th thanks to Vodafone Future Breakers.
He's up against the Luna Rae, but that's a 50/50 chance. WE LIKE THOSE ODDS.
Wait, he sounds just like...
Sort of like Justin Bieber, sort of like Conor Maynard and sort of like Justin Timberlake. That kind of proper pop vibe.
How's his hair? PRIORITIES.
We've already told you - BLOODY BRILLIANT BARNET. 2011 Harry Styles-meets-Louis Tomlinson circa the This Is Us Tokyo premiere. That good.
Destined for the top or a massive flop?
Destined for the top if his recent success is anything to go by. The possibility of playing to a casual 80,000 at London's Wembley Stadium's a pretty big deal, right?
Oh, can we just hear him already?
Okay okay, here you go:
