We haven't had any new Ed Sheeran music in bloody donkey's years, what with him announcing he's taking some time out to 'get back to normality.' But now Norwegian DJ-type Kygo reckons he's been approached to work with him on his next album.
Kygo - who remixed Ed's track 'I See Fire' a few years back - thinks he could 'mark Ed's return' and says he has his fingers crossed they can sort something out.
Chatting to the Daily Star, Kygo said: "I have had a lot of people approach me recently. Ed Sheeran is one of them and he's been killing it. Maybe, yeah, I could mark his return. I'd love to.
"I'll cross my fingers for it working out, it will be very interesting."
Since we haven't really heard much from Ed - aside from a couple of sightings in Australia - since the Grammys, we're hoping he gets back to work sharpish. Please? Cheers pal.
