If you've ever listened to 5SOS's Sounds Good Feels Good you'll know that there's a particular song on the album that has an incredible emotional impact on a lot of people; 'Broken Home'.
The track, which is something of a fan favourite, is about growing up in a fractured home - and co-writer Benji Madden from Good Charlotte has now spoken up about what makes it such an important song.
Speaking to The Daily Star, Benji explained that how the track came to be and why it's such a personal favourite for him: "Joel and I love writing songs, and luckily have a knack or an ear for melody, we're pop songwriters.
"We have plenty of songs that are just for fun, but we wrote one for 5 Seconds of Summer called Broken Home about broken families and for me, that's the real s***. I love to write songs with a message."
Explaining that being totally honest in your lyrics is what makes a band like 5SOS so successful, he added: "That's when a band becomes your favourite band, when they write some real life s*** that you can relate to."
