What with Liam Payne announcing his solo record deal with Capitol UK last week, it looks like Niall Horan might be the next One Direction fella to put pen to paper and get releasing his own stuff.
A couple of weeks back 1D songwriter fella Wayne Hector hinted our Nialler was working on solo material, saying he's 'really gifted musically,' and now Dan Wootton off of The Sun and the telly and stuff reckons he's 'weeks away' from signing a deal.
Chatting on ITV's Lorraine, Dan said: "I can tell you Niall Horan is just weeks away from putting pen to paper and signing a solo record deal. What's interesting, as well, he's going to be the only one that stays loyal to SYCO and Simon Cowell; the company that made One Direction huge superstars."
Ah, the 'loyalty' thing again. Simon had a bit of a pop (so everyone reckons) at Liam the other day for leaving Sony and SYCO, saying: "We're in touch with them all. The great thing about all these boys – well not all of them but most of them - they are incredibly loyal and you don't always expect that.
"Niall, Harry Louis - amazing."
