Back in September 2015, we were pretty sure Louis Tomlinson was gonna take a seat on The X Factor 2016 judging panel. Then, in March this year, all our dreams were shattered as it was announced Tommo wouldn't be joining the telly talent show as he wanted to 'develop his label further' and stuff.
Well now Simon Cowell - who's currently going on about Liam Payne's 'annoying' solo deal a bit - has admitted that while Louis isn't on the X Factor panel his America's Got Talent spot has generated loads of interest.
Chatting to Dan Wootton off of The Sun, Simon said: "That is exactly what happened, Dan. But Louis is a young guy and doing America's Got Talent show was a great experience. The network liked him, the producers liked him.
"I wouldn't be surprised if he has been offered a lot of other shows already."
So Tommo won't be on The Voice when it gets aired on ITV, right? "Forget it," he said. "Don't think they haven't tried as well.
"He has just signed a deal with us as an imprint of a record label. He has a new artist who is going to be released this year I hope who are incredible.
"He has got fantastic instincts. He told me about this idea I would say a year or 18 months ago. He stuck with it.
"We heard the band last night, we are going to see them in rehearsals next week. They are unbelievably good. They are as good as I have ever heard. I think he has got a real knack for this."
