If you're a hardcore 5 Seconds of Summer stan you might already know that their fetus track 'Out Of My Limit' had a different name to begin with. But, for those of you who aren't fully up to scratch on the history of 5SOS, we're here to let you in on a little secret.
Taking to 5SOS Radio (yes this a thing, read more about that here) to share some weird and wonderful chat from their Hershey soundcheck, Ashton broke the news that their very first single was almost named something else entirely.
Revealing that the boys planned on calling the track 'Over The Limit' before then spotting that it sounded a bit too much like they'd had too much to drink before getting behind the wheel of a car, Ashton shared it was at this stage that they decided to re-christen it.
"We had to change the lyrics to our first single ever in Australia." Ashton shared. "It was called 'Over The Limit', "you're just a little too over the limit", and it sounds like we were driving drunk so we had to change that to er, what was it,' Out Of My Limit', so yeah, you can tell your grandkids that story."
Well, it sounds like a story that would have just about anyone glued to their seats, so we DEFINITELY will.
