It's pretty heartbreaking, but the sooner we come to terms with the fact The Saturdays' indefinite hiatus probably isn't gonna come to an end any time soon the better. On the plus side, Mollie King aka potentially the poshest pop entity the world's ever known has just released her debut solo single 'Back To You' and it's bloody brilliant.
Yup - following Vanessa White's EP and the announcement of Una Healy's solo deal the other week Mollie's the latest Saturday to give it a bash on her own; and we reckon the song might surprise a few people.
Basically it's about her relationship with David Gandy, although she's never actually named names, and it's a well chilled little tropical-tinged track with a slick af video that probably cost more than The Saturdays' entire back catalogue combined tbh.
Chatting to Popjustice about the single, our Mollie said: "I wanted something that was personal to me, either through loving it or, as it turned out, through having co-written it about an experience I'd been through. And it is very personal; it's quite an emotional song for me. I'm really proud of it."
Check out the video below, if you fancy. It's brilliant.
We adore her.
