Frank Ocean has done more to-ing and fro-ing with his second album than we even thought humanly possible. Basically, we've been switching between hope and despair for a long, long time now.
Well, even though the most recent date that we'd written up in our calendar as being potential Frank-day was August 5th, that day has gone and been with no album blessing our earholes. We despair.
Thankfully, there's been a bit of light at the end of the tunnel, with Frank having released a surprise new VISUAL album on Apple. Is it his actual proper second album? Nope. According to RollingStone, that one's still on its way.
What Frank has released though, is a live-stream of 18 tracks - including work from James Blake, Radiohead, and the London Contemporary Orchestra, set against the video backdrop of a black and white warehouse.
On the bright side, Frank's second album will be hitting our eardrums very soon, with RollingStone reporting: "That album, set for release by Apple this weekend, was previously called Boys Don't Cry, but ... the singer has scrapped that title in favour of an alternate title,"
THIS WEEKEND, PEOPLE. Finally.
