Even though choosing between One Direction's music videos is equivalent to choosing your favourite child, there is a way to track what the general population make of the boys' offerings - and it involves stalking OneDirectionVEVO's view count.
Just a heads up: there are a few surprises in the bag here, but we're gonna jump in and claim that every One Direction music video is Number 1 in our hearts. But yeah, that's not really how rankings work, is it?
So, without further ado, the reverse order of the boys' most popular music videos.
17. 'More Than This'
This absolute fetus throwback has 88,796,054 views, coming in last in the grand ranking of One Direction's music videos. Boo.
16. 'Midnight Memories'
This video pulled in 125,480,193 views, which puts it second to last on the official VEVO ranking of their videos. A gross misjustice.
15. 'Gotta Be You'
'Gotta Be You' pulled in 194,423,883 views, which means a lot of people saw Harry in that infamous orange jumper.
14. 'Night Changes'
Besides raising (and then destroying) our expectations for all dates ever, this video pulled in 216,733,846 views. Nice.
The boys' last single pre-hiatus was a big hit, pulling in a ginormous 225,759,064 views. Well deserved, tbh.
12. 'Steal My Girl'
One Direction's Danny Devito special currently has 237,325,744 hits, which is partly because of Harry's leopard print coat, we're pretty sure.
11. 'Little Things'
This black-and-white fan favourite pulled in 252,698,828 views, and only *just* missed out on hitting the Top 10.
10. 'You & I'
Interesting. This video, featuring the boys morphing into each other, got 277,916,291 hits on VEVO. Worth almost dying for eh, Harry?
This video, from the boys' fifth album Made In The AM, pulled in a whopping 290,003,433 views. Round of applause.
8. 'One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks)'
This track, which was all for Comic Relief, pulled in 323,499,396 hits on VEVO. Ex-PM David Cameron will be thrilled.
7. 'Kiss You'
It might have something to do with the fact the boys' were shirtless in their surfboarding scene, but this one pulled in 356,431,478 views. Impressive.
6. 'Best Song Ever'
'Best Song Ever' might not be One Direction's Best Video Ever (according to VEVO, anyway) (also soz for the terrible joke) but it still managed to get 472,085,970 views. So, that's not bad.
5. 'Live While We're Young'
'Live While We're Young' pulled in 487,304,158 hits and half of those people were probably there to see Niall Horan freezing his nipples off in the water.
4. 'One Thing'
The boys' little jaunt around London pulled in 488,274,563 views, which means an absolute shedload of people witnessed their world-class Inbetweeners shuffle.
3. 'Story Of My Life'
So, we're hitting the top three now. 'Story Of My Life' pulled in 512,980,308 views, probably because it was bloody brilliant and involved a lot of fetus recreations.
2. 'Drag Me Down'
In second place is 'Drag Me Down', the first single from the boys fifth album - and their first after Zayn left the band. Turns out people loved it, with 529,468,826 people watching the video so far.
1. 'What Makes You Beautiful'
And in first place is the boys' very first single, which has pulled in 797,037,461 views to date. Um, wow. WELL DONE YOU, WMYB.
What a joy to the world.
