Well put it this way, 'Noah Cyrus releases one of the edgiest pop songs of 2016' isn't a sentence we ever thought we'd say. She has, though; and 'Make Me (Cry)' with Labrinth is honestly bloody brilliant.
Like so, so good.
Taking the actual entire world by surprise, Noah's just dropped her debut single and it's not what you're expecting at all. You probably weren't expecting anything, actually; but it's nothing like you would have expected had you been expecting something.
We barely even have any grasp of the English language and simple sentence structure this song is so fantastic.
'Make Me (Cry)' starts out in the same vein as Miley Cyrus's 'Adore You' (let's get that comparison out of the way, shall we?) and we guarantee you could play it to the coolest of cool kids and they'd admit they love it. The production's on point, there are loads of quirky swishy-swooshy noises going on and we should probably just let the song speak for itself tbh.
