Rihanna and Mumford and Sons have just been announced as the first headliners set to take to the stage at the 2013 T in The Park festival.

With the festival celebrating its 20th birthday next year, the organisers have decided to make it a big one and in an uncharacteristic twist have signed up RiRi as a headliner.

She'll be joined over the weekend by The Script, Paloma Faith, Jake Bugg and Icelandic folk Of Monsters and Men.

It sounds like Mercury Music Prize winners Alt-J are also clearing up in the festival bookings department and as well as already being announced to play Reading and Leeds, they'll be heading up to Scotland for the festival.

"It's an absolute honour to be invited back to play at Scotland's biggest and best music festival - WE CAN'T WAIT," they said.

As far as we know, RiRi hasn't said anything, but then again she's probably quite busy taking selfies in her undercrackers.
