Field Day announce full 2013 line up: Solange Knowles, Palma Violets, Django Django and more

New music lovers prepare yourselves as the London based Field Day have just announced the full bill of awesome acts that they've lined up for the 2013 festival.

Solange Knowles and full line up announced for London's Field Day festival 2013

The festival itself is known for championing up and coming acts and among the new additions are Four Tet, Everything Everything, Daughter, Dark Dark Dark, Bat For Lashes, Animal Collective, Savages, Palma Violets and Django Django.

We have to say that we're probably the most excited by the announcement that Beyonce's younger sister will also be hitting up the stage. If you haven't heard of her yet, Solange has already got the bigwig music crowd excited and it sounds like she's set to give her big sis a run for her money.

If you're a fan of a good old-fashioned village fete (and being able to change your knickers in the morning) then the one day festival is probably the one to get you ready for the season. As well as all that new music, they are also big on the village green vibe, so expect the odd coconut shy and welly wanging galore.

Yes, we did include that just so we could mention welly wanging. Twice.

Field Day takes place on May 25 at London's Victoria Park and tickets are on sale now.
