When McFly and One Direction hit the studio together, some kinda musical magic happens. We like to imagine they hang around in glittery gold thongs, gently caressing each other's faces in a bit to get the creative juices flowing. And then they shower together. Recording studios are notoriously hot. We go in them all the time. Yeah.

ANYWAY, unless you've been living under a stick of Blackpool rock you'll know that McDirection have teamed up again for the Midnight Memories album (hooray)...and now it's been confirmed the lads wrote Don't Forget Where You Belong together.

Now since McFly co-wrote I Want from Up All Night and I Would from Take Me Home, we were sort of expecting the next one to be called I Love (Sugarscape). BUT ALAS.

Saying words on Capital FM, Tom Fletcher said: "We wrote and Danny produced 'Don't Forget Where You Belong'. It's track seven on the One Direction album," with Danny adding "It was great working with them and they absolutely smashed it. It was a pretty nice, really nice process."

OH LET'S JUST LISTEN TO I WANT AND FEEL THOSE FETUS FEELS ONCE MORE.

Yay.

What d'ya reckon? Excited to hear Don't Forget Where You Belong? Stupid question? Comments please.
