Taylor Swift has released the behind-the-scenes video for 'Out Of The Woods' and we're feeling super grateful our job doesn't involve us rolling around in the mud in sub-zero temperatures because she looks BEYOND COLD.
With the single being such a fan favourite, the pressure was on for the video to reflect how intense and frantic the song actually is. So yeah, it was never going to be a white dress outside a sun-drenched castle kind of production.
Instead, the crew all packed up and headed off to New Zealand where Tay was filmed on freezing glaciers, windy beaches, and in muddy forests: "We are in New Zealand on one of the most - not 'one of the most', the most - beautiful beach I've ever been on in my life", she shared in the vid. "It's so surreal. All of us are just freaking out over it."
"I'm bedraggled and also emotional, probably very hungry. I go through all this stuff and all these terrible trials and tribulations and in the end I find - dun dun da - myself"
Director Joseph Kahn, who previously called Tay "a badass" for how she put up with the harsh environment, added: 'The entire video is basically Taylor suffering through an emotional landscape of trees and forests and snow and water. All that is a metaphor, but it's being done practically on location here in New Zealand."
Oh, and main lesson of the day - if you dip your dress in wax it'll look like it's frozen. WHO KNEW?
