There's no denying Taylor Swift did alright for herself at the GRAMMYs last night; picking up shiny gold gramophone gongs for Album of the Year (1989), Best Pop Vocal Album (again 1989) and Best Music Video ('Bad Blood'.) Oh, and she slayed Kanye West with one single speech. We couldn't help but notice, though, that she might've thought Ed Sheeran nabbing Song of the Year for 'Thinking Out Loud' was her fourth win of the night.
Yup - our Edward's massive Multiply single was quite rightly named the tune of 2015/16 at the swanky Staples Center bash; and since she's his BFF Taylor looked proud as punch. So proud, in fact, it sort of even took the shine off Ed himself for a second.
As his win was announced he obviously looked well chuffed, but in true Ed style the fella was pretty nonchalant about the whole thing; taking it all in his stride like he'd just won a free fruit bag on the McDonald's Monopoly tie-in or something.
TayTay, however, couldn't bloody control herself. There were tears. There were exaggerated facial expressions. There was a Selena hug. Babes, you're aware that 'Thinking Out Loud' is Ed's song, right?
We joke, we joke - the Sweeran feels are strong. Check out Taylor's reaction below, yo.
So yeah, the camera guy/gal clearly thought this was HER MOMENT.
What d'ya make of that, then? Tweet us your thoughts over @sugarscape or drop a comment in the box below, please and a-thank you very much.
Peace out x
