Kesha covered her mate Lady Gaga's powerful ballad 'Til It Happens to You' at the Humane Society Gala over the weekend, and it's safe to say it's one of the most emotional performances we've seen in a while.
The Gaga and Diane Warren-penned Oscar-nominated track, written for the 2015 documentary The Hunting Ground, addresses the epidemic of campus rape in US universities and was obviously particularly poignant given Kesha's sexual abuse lawsuit against Dr. Luke.
Introducing the track, Kesha said: "I want to dedicate this song to every man, woman, child and animal that has ever been abused;" before putting her all into the heartbreaking song. After singing the opening line ('they tell me it gets better'), Kesha clearly felt a little overwhelmed and took a step back from the mic, but it's safe to say she slayed it tbh.
