Duffy is hoping to make waves in the States while Chanelle signs albums in, erm, Camberley

The excitement of promoting her album in the States was clear from Duffy's chirpy smile in New York yesterday.

The singer was signing of her amazing Rockferry album in New York's Virgin Megastore, a few days after a one off gig at the legendary Apollo Theatre in Harlem. She's also appeared on various chat shows including Live With Regis & Kelly, Late Night With Conan O’Brien and The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, and performed at the Coachella festival - we reckon they'll love her so much over there that it won't be long before she waves bye bye to Wales and packs her bags for the Big Apple :(

Meanwhile Chanelle was also promoting her new single I Want It in the slightly less glamorous location of, well, Camberley, Surrey. Still the girl has lots of projects on the go: a new reality TV show, modelling lingerie for Asda and launching her own perfume called Mwah.
