Is Brad Pitt being all worthy with his latest tattoo?

We know Brangelina are a fan of the odd tatt or seven, but Brad's latest addition to his back tatt range has us really confused.

When we clocked the set of lines he's had etched there we weren't sure what to think... Was it some strange code? One of Shiloh's drawings? A tribute to etch-a-sketch? But apparently not.

Turns out Brad Pitt has paid an odd tribute to (one of!)  his hometown New Orleans, Louisiana in the shape of a new tattoo on his lower back. Experts say that the markings could be inspired by a map of the levees (river banks built to stop flooding) which were destroyed by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. Hmmm, nice thought Brad.

But surely there's more direct ways to show your support? An 'I love New Orleans' badge maybe?
