Check out this adorable orphaned wombat having a much deserved snooze!
She is recuperating at the MaryKnoll Wildlife Centre in Melbourne, Australia, after her mother was hit by a motorist.
Baby wombats like her are commonly found in the pouches of their mothers who have been struck on the roads. While the babies may survive the impact, they require a lot of night feeding and up to two years care before they cab return to the wild!
