It was supposed to be her big comeback, but Britney just looked bemused and lifeless during her performance at the VMAs in Vegas.

Dressed in ridiculous black spangly hot pants and a bra top, the one-time sexy starlet hobbled around awkwardly in knee high boots with as much dexterity as an OAP. Tragic.

Celeb blogger Perez Hilton has slatted her performance and called it an insult to her fans. The song called Gimme More is actually quite good, but her lip-synching is truly criminal - check out her lame giggle at the beginning of the video in the link below.
