A suicidal girl with serious daddy issues is also on her list of dream roles. Gulp.
Kristen Stewart has revealed that her dream film role is a suicidal girl who falls in love with her own father. That, or an ‘evil c***’, of course. Say whaaaat?
In an interview with this month’s issue of Elle Magazine, the Twilight star admitted that she would love to play Peyton Loftis – the lead character in novel ‘Lie Down in Darkness’ – a girl with serious daddy issues.
"I want to play Peyton more than anything I can possibly taste or touch in my life,” said Kristen. “I want to play her so bad."
And it seems Peyton’s disturbing relationship with her father is what appeals to KStew the most. "She's in love with him. I mean, I think she's in love with him," Stewart said of the character. "It's not his fault. They're the most f***ed-up family."
The 22-year-old even has an idea as to who should play her incestuous dad. “Colin Firth would be perfect,” she said.
Lovely. That’d be a change in direction for the Bridget Jones actor, wouldn’t it?
Kristen didn’t stop there either. She went on to use some SHOCKING (teehee) language to describe why she also wants to play Cathy Ames from the book ‘East of Eden.’
Oh and just in case you didn't know - this Cathy chick murders her own parents and forces her children to run a brothel amongst other things. Heartwarming.
Kristen enthused: "She's a psychopathic, evil c**t! I haven't done that yet."
No, we can't quite see Bella Swan or Snow White getting on board with those kind of shennanigans. It sounds like KStew reads some pretty twisted shizzle. Perhaps she should try something a bit lighter?
