Oh, and new pictures too. Score.
Emma Watson ditched the Hermione label when she cut off all her hair, but the newly released trailer and stills for her next film venture The Perks of Being a Wallflower shows that she’s well and truly moved away from Harry Potter.
The film is based on a popular book of the same name – and is actually directed by the author Stephen Chbosky, making for a pretty close adaption, we would think.
Emma plays Sam, a free-spirited high school senior who takes shy freshman Charlie (Logan Lerman) under her wing, and proceeds to show him the ways of the world.
Which seems to involve rather a lot of standing up in a moving vehicle, and dancing in a burlesque show. What would your mother say Emma?
For anyone who has ever felt like an outsider, or a bit out of place at school (and let’s face it, who hasn’t) we have a feeling you're going to love this.
Watch the trailer below to see just why this is set to be the film of the summer. Then tell us what you think, obvs. Oh - and keep an ear out for Emma's American accent!
