...along with The Big Bang Theory's Jim Parsons!
Rihanna’s movie career has taken another step forward, as she has been cast in Dreamworks animated film Happy Smekday. Or at least, her voice has been.
Ri-Ri will provide the voice of a human girl in the film, which is an adaptation of the book 'The True Meaning of Smekday' by Adam Rex.
The flick will see a bunch of friendly aliens invade Earth on Christmas Eve to hide from their evil enemy, renaming the festive holiday 'Smekday' in the process. Catchy.
Rihanna has spoken previously about her plans for a Hollywood career, revealing that she’d quite like to balance music with movies from now on.
''I didn't know if I would like it or be good at it,” said Ri, talking about her role in Battleship. “I really enjoyed the experience and I want to do more, try different types of roles so that I can see what I excel in most or like best.'”
Well, it seems like you’re on the right track, Ri.
Jim Parsons, who plays hilarious Sheldon in the Big Bang Theory will also star in the film, providing the voice for a rogue alien, who goes on the run with Rihanna’s human girl character after he accidentally lets the enemy in on his whereabouts.
Silly little alien.
Whaddya think, sound good?
