Finally some football we can get on board with…
Usually when we picture Justin Bieber, One Direction, and balls they’re not the football pitch kind. It’s more in a basketball way, because Biebs is well into that and Niall Horan loves the shirts. We don’t know what you were thinking of you dirty wotsits.
El Beibo is a man with a sports plan though and revealed to The Daily Star that he wants to start a football team which will be the most star-studded the world has ever known.
"I've been playing a lot of soccer over the last two or three years. I've been really enjoying it.
"I know there's an LA celebrity team that Robbie Williams was in, but I am looking to start a team for the younger guys. The One Direction guys said that they'll play and also Lil Bow Wow."
When it comes to coaches, Justin won’t settle for second best and wants to recruit Golden Balls himself.
"There's only one guy we want to coach the team and that is David Beckham. It's not like we will be playing a game every week. It will, in reality probably only be about three or four games a season.
"I am going to personally ask David myself and I'm really hoping he will say yes. And we will play only 10 minutes from his house."
He added: "I was going to ask my girl Selena and Victoria if they wanted to be cheerleaders for us. But hey, that might be pushing it."
Posh Spice as a cheerleader? Nah she’s be totally up for that. She can stand on Sel’s shoulders and shout stuff.
Louis Tomlinson is already up for playing with boys and balls, tweeting: “Just heard about the @justinbieber football team thing. Haha let's do it!!”
However there’s one boyband member who’s Justin’s left hanging, ahem Max George. “@justinbieber... I hear youre putting a football team together....... Invitation in the post I'm guessing?” [sic]
Soz Max, he’s probably a bit scared after hearing about Tom Parker trying to rough up Alistair Campbell (our favourite celebrity story of last year, by the way).
