Nail polish in a pen!
Painting our nails is probably one of our favourite things to do.
But when you don’t have a steady hand, trying to do a neat job at home can be a nightmare.
So when we saw that ASOS.com recently started stocking the new LAQA + CO. nail polish pens (£11) we couldn’t wait to give them a try!
They’re a little more pricey than we’d usually pay for nail polish but the mechanical pens promise that you can neatly do your nails anywhere in a few clicks.
So we let Sugarscape’s Jess loose with the pens to see how she’d get on.
Jess said: “The packaging and design of the pens was really beautiful – each one is designed by a different artist. But I’d want it to be for £11!
“The nail pen itself is really easy to use, it was really easy to get it in a straight line for a tidy paint job.
“It was a bit difficult to work out how many clicks you need for each nail. I found myself clicking too much to begin with but I soon got the hang of it.
“After the first coat, the birthday suit nail polish was really streaky and didn’t give good coverage.
“After two more thin coats my nails were covered but you could still see some streaks which was a little disappointing.
“But the topcoat gave a really glossy finish and was easy to use.
“Overall I’d give the topcoat a go, but the nail polish doesn’t give a great finish for the price tag.”
Would you give the pens a go? Comments please!
