Time to get a deep and meaningful with a spot of the Mumfs
After a couple of years of solid touring, Mumford & Sons have not only revealed new single I Will Wait, but that they are all set to release second studio album Babel in just over a month.
Having pretty much played our copy of their 2009 debut album Sigh No More into a pile of glittery dust, we've been waiting to hear some new tracks from the lads for a while. But lthere won't be long to wait as they've announced that the next offering will be released on September 24.
With Marcus Mumford newly married to actress Carey Mulligan and the whole band slap bang in the middle of a US tour, the band are hoping to squeeze in some UK shows after the album is released.
"We're just trying to figure it out at the moment," keyboardist Ben Lovett told Radio 1.
"We're long overdue. It's been a while. We just want to play some UK dates."
It's just as pouty and emoshe as we'd expected, but what do you think?
If you can't wait to see Mumford & Sons play more of their new stuff, they're all signed up to play London's iTunes Festival on September 24 - the day the album is released!
