Solidarity, YEAH.

Yesterday we told you about some horrible so-and-so who chucked a bottle of urine at Cher Lloyd, while she performed at V Festival in Chelmsford.

We weren't impressed, you weren't impressed - and it seems a couple of celebs weren't impressed either, with Professor Green and Example taking to twitter to defend Cher.

Typically, Professor Green spread his rant over three seperate tweets (he does like a rant, does Pro) starting with: "someone needs to have a word with themselves... how fucking disgusting can people be? chin up @cherlloyd xx"

He then shared his own anecdote, tweeting: "I got hit with a pound coin once. I suspect it cost the person who threw it more than it did me... "

And ended with some wise words: "It's easier to walk away from a stage if you don't like an artist than it is to fill a bottle with piss and launch it, surely?"

While we weren't at all surprised to see Pro Green leaping to Cher's defence, we were a little bamboozled when Example joined in.

You may remember that he's not exactly Cher's biggest fan - he once tweeted: "Cher Lloyd's single has been leaked. The biggest crime since she got a record dea,' before describing her as a 'bit horrible' in an interview.

But it seems there's nothing like a flying bottle of the yellow stuff to bring people together, because yesterday Example tweeted:

"Whilst i'm not a fan of Cher Lloyd I don't think anyone deserves bottles of piss thrown at them. Stick to plain old booing in future people."

Sort of a back-handed compliment that one, but we appreciate the sentiment.

Do you agree with the Professor and Example?
