Well this is just uncalled for
Following the dramas of Zayn Malik and Twitter this week, our emotions had finally reached a pretty moderate plateau after he returned to our timelines yesterday morning. Rumours have been doing the rounds that he left because he was accused of smoking weed and cheating on Perrie Edwards, but his sister tweeted yesterday that he'd been on the receiving end of some very serious hate tweets.
"So am getting loads of dm's asking if he's okay," tweeted Doniya Malik.
"Jus to let u all knw he's fyn so nothing to worry about... He's a strong boy... He just deleted it coz he was sick of reading silly things... As he was reciving hate and racist tweets about his race and religion." [sic]
"It was nothing to do with the video x
"But thanks ever1 4 ur concerns bless ya u really r supportive fans... Wen I see zayn i will let him knw u all love him xx"[sic]
Ugh, this makes us almost do little sicks in our mouths. Being accused of cheating on your girlfriend and taking drugs is bad enough, but hate tweets about your race and religion is just plain disgusting on a whole different level.
Luckily the support seems to be flooding in from Directioners, and Zayn returned to Twitter yesterday to an onslaught of positive Worldwide Trends about him, and hopefully a whole load of love.
WE LOVE YOU ZAYN FACE.
