We'd started wondering if the practically perfect in everyway, Chase Crawford (sexy Nate in Gossip Girl) was too good to be true...if his ex, American Idol star Carrie Underwood's claims are true, then he's not as angelic as we thought...

 

Carrie, on confirming they're no longer coupled up said she has no hard feelings towards the Gossip Girl star, who dumped her by text message. Right after exclusivley telling Sugarscape that he was done with dumping girls in harsh ways. He told us he once ditched a girl by leaving a note on her car, but added 'that was bad, I don’t do that any more.' Hmmm...

Carrie says, "It was completely mutual. We're both fine. We broke up over text so it's like 'Peace out.'"

"It just didn't work. We both knew it didn't work and no hard feelings at all whatsoever... It's no big deal."

And Carrie, who has previously dated Jessica Simpson's new man Tony Romo, admits celebrity dating isn't always fun: "It's difficult while you're dating because people always make a lot bigger deal of things than they actually are."
