It's nearly time to banish those tights and bare your legs for the summer, are you ready?
We all know the dangers of hopping on a sunbed for five minutes so why not fake it this summer, we've got something for everyone.
We've scoured the beauty stands to bring you our five favourite self tans to turn you from pale and pasty golden goddess...
- For those of you on a budget we love Rimmel's Sun Shimmer range. The wash off bronzing mousse drys really quickly so you can put it on just before you step out of the door. Perfect for when you have a last minute outfit change from trousers to a skirt!

Rimmel's sunshimmer bronzing mousse is available in good beauty stores for £7.99
- If you have a few more pennies to spend head to your nearest Fake Bake counter, we love their radiant golden glow gradual self tan. In each box you get a passion fruit body polish to get your body ready and to avoid orange elbows and knees!

It's best to put Fake Bake on the night before you bare your body to make sure that the tan has developed - you can always add another layer if you need to.
Fake bake is available here for £24.95
- There are so many different products in L'Oreal's Sublime Bronze self tan collection - there's something for everyone.

If you are worried about showing your legs in a skirt we recommend using the new Glam Bronze spray foundation. Not only does it give you an instant bronzed glow but it also hides imperfections such as veins, pores and small scars!
Loreal glam bronze is available here for £9.99 - We love that you can use Johnson's Holiday Skin lightglow body lotion every single day without looking like a tangerine! The lotion gives you a subtle colour by enhancing your skin's natural colour gradually.

If you want to add some colour to your face, we love the new Sublime bronze illuminating cream. The instant tint effect gives you a tanned and radiant complexion all day.
Johnson's holiday skin is available at Superdrug for £4.89 - If you want a golden glow that you can enjoy in the sun, Dove is perfect for you. The new Sunshine Summer Glow is not only a moisturiser with subtle self tanners but it also has an SPF 15 - so it's safe to bear your legs in the sun without burning them and adopting the lobster look!

I love the Johnsons Holiday Skin. It makes you GLOW! without looking completely orange. The smell is not very nice though.
