Get ready for this summer's music festivals by picking up these beauty must-haves...

Agyness Deyn and friends at the Coachella Music Festival
California's Coachella festival went off over the weekend, with performances from Jack Johnson, Death Cab for Cutie, Duffy and a host of other artists. Not far from LA, lots of stars headed out to the desert to check out their favourite bands, including Paris Hilton and Benji Madden, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, Kelly Osbourne, Sienna Miller, Agyness Deyn and Cameron Diaz.
The trends of the weekend included comfortable summer dresses with flowing fabrics and a hippie flair, and hair cut short, tied back or left messy and wavy. Must-have accessories included big plastic sunnies, wristbands, big slouchy bags and comfortable shoes that could be worn all day. And makeup was kept to a minimum, mostly consisting of sunscreen, mascara and lip gloss.

Kelly Osbourne and Sienna Miller dressed down for the festival.
- Start with some sunscreen like L'Oreal's Solar Expertise, which is available up to SPF 50+ to stop any unsightly sunburns, tee-shirt tans and peeling.
- Keep makeup light--don't worry about wearing eye shadow since it'll probably be hidden behind your sunglasses--but make sure what you do wear is waterproof and sweatproof. Try out Rimmel's Magnif'Eyes Mascara to make sure your eye makeup doesn't slide away.
- Keep lips looking healthy with a gloss with SPF. If you're looking to just keep your lips from getting crisp, try Simple Lip Sun Protector. If you want to go a bit more girlie, try Biotherm's Sun Fitness Crystal Lip Gloss, which has extreme shine and comes in fruity flavours.
- Take a small sample of your favourite scent to stay smelling sweet all day. If you don't have a purse-size version, you can buy a mini spray bottle from Muji for just £1.75.
- Don't forget to pack some Simple Wipes to help your feel refreshed after you've been out all day long.
- Make sure to bring extra hair ties--they always come in handy.
