my favourite book is by martin brooks and its called martyn pig. Its about a by with an alcoholic and abusive dad, and how one christmas, martyn accidently pushes him and kills him. The rest of the book is about martyn discovering his dad's secret life and working out how to get into his dad's bank account! Its really good, but there's a sad twist at the end.
