On October 7th in London
EXCITED FACES AT THE READY. Radio 1's Teen Awards are coming back to us this year, and the initial line-up is already turning out to be all kinds of awesome.
Nick Grimshaw had the One Direction fellas in his studio this morning to launch the announcements, revealing that 1D will be playing alongside Little Mix, Conor Maynard, and Taylor FREAKING Swift.
That's the shizz right there.
The awards (which will be hosted by Grimmy) take place in Wembley Arena on October 7th this year, and there are still heaps more acts to be announced. We went along last year and enjoyed the delights of Cher Lloyd, One Direction, Ed Sheeran and Tom Daley to name but a few, so our mouths are pretty frothy with anticipation about this year's event.
Check out our chat with 1D from last year (apols about the lack of Harry at the beginning, the camera-guy seemed to have forgotten he was there... awkward).
"It was so much fun last year and it's a great line-up," said Niall Horan about this year's parTAY.
"It's always good to be on a great bill - and obviously with the teen hero award, it's an award for people who have done amazing things, obviously it's great to be part of that as well."
