Is another one about to bite the dust?

It's been an eventful week in the world of pop. First we had all the drama surrounding Keisha's departure from the Sugababes, and now Smile singer Lily Allen is sending us all in a fluster - is she quitting the music biz or not?!

We told you not so long ago that Lily had got herself in a war of words over music piracy on her myspace blog. Well it turns out that not only was the blog she wrote of 'her views' just a copy of an article written by Techdirt, but that she herself was also guilty of pirating music. What a muddle!

Now, Lily's blog has been the cause of more controversy as she used it to announce that she doesn't believe she can make much more music in the industry and doesn't plan to make any more records. She wrote: "Just so you know, I have not renegotiated my record contract and have no plans to make another record. The days of me making money from recording music has been gone as far as I’m concerned."

Ooh-er! We reckon it must have been a hasty post, because it was soon deleted.

Lily's poor spokesperson must be run ragged with all she's had to deal with, and now she's trying to patch up this latest drama, insisting there will be no retirement.

Well, we have to say, you've really confused us on this one Lily. All these snap decisions, all these rumours, we don't know what to think!

For now, it looks like the songstress is sticking around, but we're still wondering how this story will unfold...

Would you be absolutely gutted if Lily quit? Who do you believe, her blog or her spokesperson? Comments please...
