The Dead is absolutely perfect for teens looking to try a good old-fashioned horror novel, but it’s more than that. It’s also a clever story that makes you think. Even better, it’s the first in a trilogy, so there’s more to come. This episode reveals WHY Lazarus is dragged into this whole gory mess, his weird family history and exactly what part his absent Dad has to play, and we’re guessing the adventure will only get better in Part 2 (The Dark, coming October 2010). The Dead will definitely tease your imagination, and if you know a certain cute boy who likes reading, it will make the perfect pressie for him.
