Would he be a good American Idiot?
The show sees three blokes bored with their parents rules and rubbish suburbian hometowns. Two of them scamper off to "the city" to look for some excitement and ladies while the other one stays at home to look after his knocked up girlfriend and gets addicted to drugs and booze.
One of the city boys ends up being shipped off to the army, loses a leg and falls in love with his nurse, while the other gets all emotional about girls for a bit and "experiences lost love." The show's also full of Green Day songs, mainly from their American Idiot album.
While that's not the official description the producers have gone for, we reckon that pretty much sums it up.
Billie Joe reckons R-Patz would be perfect as the lead character;
"I'm gonna say that kid in Twilight," he said. "He's a good actor. There's still more to come with that kid."
Although really, he could have been talking about Taylor Lautner, and everyone's just got the wrong end of the stick.
What do you reckon? Does this sound like something you'd wanna see Rob in?
