Who has conquered the UK charts this week?
So, is everyone ready to hear what happened in the charts this week? We’re brimming with *useless* information about which singers have been stuck in the same spot and how many weeks they have been there for. It is interesting, honest.
Number 5: Jessie J – Laserlight feat. David Guetta
Jessie J has spent three weeks in the chart and is still at number 5 with her song Laserlight featuring David Guetta.
He seems to be getting onto every song out there at the moment.
Number 4: Conor Maynard – Can’t Say No
Girls, girls, girls, poor old Conor just can’t say no to them. It must be quite a predicament when he actually needs to say no to them.
But one thing we’re sure he’s not saying no about is the fact that he’s number four in the charts with his uber catchy song.
Bravo to him.
Number 3: Fun feat. Janelle Monae – We Are Young
The equally catchy We Are Young by Fun featuring Janelle Monae is at number three this week, after three weeks in the chart.
For those of you who think you might know this song but just aren’t sure, Harry Styles has said he likes it numerous times.
Number 2: Calvin Harris feat. Ne-Yo – Let’s Go
This is a brand new entry from Calvin Harris and it’s super catchy AND Ne-Yo sings in it and it’s just rather brilliant.
However, because it went straight into the charts at number two, we have no fun facts to give you about how many weeks in the charts and all that.
AND, there isn’t even a music video for the song, so you’ll just have to close your eyes and listen to the audio and imagine up your own video.
Number 1: Carly Rae Jepsen – Call Me Maybe
So this week, in the world of music, there weren’t really too many major surprises. By that we mean that Carly Rae Jepsen is still number one with the super catchy Call Me Maybe.
She’s spent a wonderful 5 weeks in the charts, but now we’re starting to wonder if it’s someone else’s turn for the glory? We just don’t know.
Take a listen and decide for yourselves.
There you have it, this weeks chart rundown from five to the coveted number one spot.
Are you happy with who is in the charts at the moment, or do you think there is another, more worthy band or singer who should definitely be getting a look in?
